Anita Waters, YPD Director

Sis. Anita Waters is an active member of Pilgrim African Methodist Episcopal Church, where she has been a member of the Missionary Society for over 30 years.  She has served on the Board of Stewards, Church School Secretary, President and Business Manager of the Music and Christian Arts Ministry, Missionary Corresponding Secretary, YPD Advisor and YPD Director.  She is currently serving as the Third Vice Chair of the Celeste Duckette Area.

She earned her Associate of Arts in Applied Science Degree in Business Management from Prince Georges Community College, Bachelor of Science Degree from National-Louis University, Wheaton, Illinois in Management and brings to the team over 30 years of administrative experience in both the public and private sector.  Sis. Waters serves as the Executive Administrator to the Treasurer/CFO in the AME Finance Department in the Washington, DC Office.

Her commitment to civic and community service is demonstrated as a Life Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and First Vice President of the Washington DC Section of the National Council of Negro Women.  

Her favor scripture is 1 Peter 4:10, “God has given each of us a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.”
