Annual Convention Business Session
April 14th at 7:15 a.m. at Martin’s Crosswinds, Greenbelt, MD
I want to thank each of you for your outstanding service to communities across the Washington Conference this Conference Year. You have been intentional, creative, impactive, and consistent in your service. Therefore, as we come to the end of these good works, the following are instructions and deadlines for registration for the WCB-WMS Annual Day Convention, which will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 7:15 a.m. at Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, MD. Onsite registration closes at 9:00 am, so if you arrive after 9:00 am, you will not be permitted to vote. The cost of the Annual Day Convention is $135.00. Upon registering, a breakfast buffet will be enjoyed, followed by the Tanner Turner Service.
Immediately following our Business Session and Elections, all missionaries and associates will proceed to the luncheon buffet. The dinner break will be from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Night In White
The Night in White Service starts at 7:00 pm at Ebenezer AME Church in Ft. Washington, MD. All those who will be capped or pinned should meet in the sanctuary by 6:15 pm.
The online registration link will be disabled on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. No exceptions.
CONFERENCE LEVEL CLASSIFICATIONS
Life Member (LM) – A missionary that has received the honor and is recoginzed as a Life Member by the Connectional Women’s Missionary Society.
Conference Branch Officer (CO) – A missionary that serves as an elected officer on the Conference Branch Level.
Local WMS President (LP) – A missionary that serves as the elected WMS President at her local church.
Local YPD Director (LY) – A missionary that serves as the elected YPD Director at her local church.
Conference Branch Member (CM) – A eligible voting missionary is someone that has registered for and attended at least three Annual Conventions in the past four years, unless you have previously registered as a delegate within that time period.
Delegate (DE) – A missionary that is a 1st time attendee to the WCB WMS representing their local WMS Society as a delegate.
Other – Non-Voting Attendee to the WCB WMS Annual Convention
